Summer Show 2024

Another good show to round up our Summer season.   Lovely exhibits of roses and high quality sweet peas impressed our Horticultural judge on this show.   This was followed by pot plants and shrubs with good examples of vases of garden flowers too.There were a variety of fruit and vegetables and some lovely exhibits from our younger members.  Homecraft came up trumps again with high numbers of exhibits in the cake classes plus many photos of our adorable pets to view.   The newsletter cake recipe produced 8 examples for our Homecraft judge to sample.  

Another successful afternoon with plenty of tea and cakes, plants, bric a brac, and the usual books and puzzles.  Thanks to our helpers for assisting at the hall again.

Warner trophy for best exhibit in Floral Art awarded to Wendy Stafford.

Claydon trophy for most points gained by a lady at Summer show awarded to Nicola Calder.

Cramphorn trophy for most points gained by a gentleman at Summer show awarded to Brian Everett.

Presidents Salver for best exhibit in pot grown classes awarded to Brian Bushell.
